Spring ball is here, and the energy around North Greenville football is building. After an undefeated Conference Carolinas run, a conference championship, and a return to the NCAA Division II Football Championship, the Trailblazers are not slowing down.
The Foundation Is Set
Coach Garner and the staff have spent the offseason reinforcing the ALPHA standard across every area of the program. The culture is no longer being introduced — it is being lived. From the weight room to the meeting room to the practice field, the expectation is clear: be aggressive, be loyal, be prepared, be humble, and be armored.
The returning core brings experience, depth, and leadership. But as Coach Garner has said repeatedly, last year’s success means nothing if it does not fuel this year’s work.
New Faces, Same Standard
The incoming class and transfer additions bring talent and competition to every position group. Spring camp will be the proving ground — the place where roles are earned, not given.
Expect real battles at quarterback, in the defensive backfield, and along both lines. The coaching staff has made it clear: the best players will play, regardless of class or experience.
What to Watch
Keep an eye on The ALPHA Podcast for inside access to spring camp, player features, and conversations with the coaching staff. This is where the behind-the-scenes story gets told — the work, the grind, and the growth that the regular season highlights do not show.
The standard has been set. Now it is time to raise it.
